Glow in the Dark ~ Space Ball
This was great fun to put together from flat pieces. It has lasted pretty well although you can see the holes where the tags are missing.
Daniel used to have this hanging in his room, the gentle glow helped him go to sleep.
Not easy to photograph; it didn't put out muchlight so my Fuji picked up a lot of noise on the long exposure.
It's quite eerie looking so I think you did a really good job with a difficult subject
ReplyDeleteKudos for capturing this shot! Based on past experience I know just how hard it is to capture the glow since the light fades out so fast. You did a great job and this is such an interesting subject.

I like the cropping too. Very well shot under very difficult conditions.
ReplyDeleteI think the low lighting in the image portrays a more accurate represetnation of the object. I think it's a good shot.
ReplyDeleteWow, if you shot that using only the light that the ball itself emits, you did a darned good job! Very nice work!
ReplyDeleteNice composition. I agree with the others - really amazing if the only light was from the ball. I think I'd have been tempted to bump up the contrast in Photoshop to make the green pop more.
