Big Bird and Ernie

I can't find Bert, poor Ernie...

My eldest son, Daniel had these small toys when he was approx 3 years old. Sesame Street was on TV in New Zealand and very popular - Bert and Ernie were his favourites. When he was about 6 or 7, Finn had a Sesame Street duvet cover and pillow case, Daniels daughter Jade (3 in June) now has them.

  1. Cute toys. I like the arrangement you've chosen.

  2. Hehe...I remember watching Sesame Street when I was a child, followed by The Electric Company. Suffaluffagus (however you spell it) was my favorite character. My son never got into Sesame Street. Now-a-days it's all Jimmy Neutron and Spongebob Squarepants!

  3. Daniel may no longer be playing with them but it looks like Big Bird and Ernie are still having a blast :) I love the primary colors and how you arranged them, too.

  4. Classic kids' toys. My kids watched this a bit, but were never really big fans. They both loved Cookie Monster best. Great job on the composition and setup.

  5. I always liked to see and play with these fun pieces, until now, after the 40 years.
My images are similar to your own and I believe that your studio was invaded by toys, like mine. This is so fun!
Congrats on the start of toys collection!

  8. Sesame Street is one of those kids programmes which has stood the test of time like Thomas the Tank Engine. Nicely framed photo and a lovely selection of colours.
