After thinking about toys for most of the afternoon, I ended up starting the challenge with a photo of a new toy.
My youngest son Finnian (Oops, I owe Lizzy big apologies as she gave Dan the sheep), gave his step-dad Dan a pooping sheep for Christmas. If you press down on its head a coke flavoured jelly bean pops out of a hole under his tail. I think this explains the look on his face.

Oh! His expression is proceless! I have a reindeer that does the same thing. Lovely photo and the dof goes nicely.
ReplyDeleteInteresting subject. Could it be refilled? Andromeda5000 still has lots of jellybeans (has she?). I'm looking forward to other special toys.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments - you two were so fast!
ReplyDeleteYes it could be refilled, maybe with chocolate raisins.LOL.
Perfect dof and what a cool toy, I want one! Chocolate raisin poop? That's even better than coke jelly beans...
ReplyDeleteI hope that sheep has a name, cos he really looks like he needs one! Great shot, although it looks like it's gone a bit pixellated. Love the bright colours and closeup impact.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot - he doesn't look too happy to see the arrival of 2009 does he?!
ReplyDeleteHe's sort of grumpy but at the same time so cute.
ReplyDeleteNice start only 30 to go :-)
Nicely set up picture, great DoF.
ReplyDeleteI notice a slight greenish cast, is that deliberate?
Thanks for the comments fellow worthians.
ReplyDeleteI was using a lomo/cross processing effect so yes I guess the green cast was deliberate.
That is a real lawn he is standing on. It almost looks artificial.
The expression on his face is hilarious after reading your explaination. lol
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo. :D
ReplyDeleteLove it
Too funny! :) I used to have a pooping sheep key chain. You squeeze him, and brown goo comes out the back. It goes back in when you let go. This one seems like tons more fun.
ReplyDeleteI like the cross processed look and yeah he's not happy about the jelly beans lol
ReplyDeleteMy kids love these toys. Great use of shallow DOF in the grass.
